These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Advisor Prep Hero desktop application (the "Software"), the advisorprephero.com website, and any related services we offer (collectively, the "Service"). By downloading, installing, or using Advisor Prep Hero, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
"We," "us," and "our" refer to Jameson Daines, an individual operating Advisor Prep Hero as a sole proprietor based in the United States.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms (and, for paid features, your payment of applicable fees), we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Advisor Prep Hero for your personal or business use.
Advisor Prep Hero is licensed, not sold. We retain all intellectual property rights in the Software. The full license terms are in the End User License Agreement (EULA).
Advisor Prep Hero offers a 30-day free trial with no credit card required. The trial gives you full access to the Software so you can evaluate it before buying. The trial is provided as-is, with no obligation to provide support or continued availability. When the trial ends, you need a paid license to keep using the Software.
Paid tiers are sold through our merchant of record, LemonSqueezy. All paid tiers are annual subscriptions. Prices are listed at advisorprephero.com and may change at any time, but changes do not affect the price you paid for an existing subscription term.
Try free for 30 days, no credit card. We encourage you to use the 30-day free trial to decide whether Advisor Prep Hero is right for you before buying.
14-day refund. If you buy and you're not satisfied with Advisor Prep Hero, request a refund within 14 days of purchase by emailing [email protected] or by using LemonSqueezy's customer portal. We will refund the full purchase price, no questions asked.
After 14 days, refunds are at our sole discretion and only granted in cases of significant defects that we are unable to fix in a reasonable time.
You agree not to use Advisor Prep Hero to:
Advisor Prep Hero uses your own API keys for Anthropic (Claude), OpenAI, and Google AI (Gemini). When you use AI features, requests go directly from your computer to the provider, we are never in the loop. This means:
We will make reasonable efforts to provide updates that improve functionality, fix bugs, and address security issues. We do not commit to a fixed update schedule.
Support is provided via [email protected]. We aim to respond to inquiries within 2 business days but cannot guarantee specific response times.
The Software and the Service are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Software will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components. You use the Software at your own risk.
Advisor Prep Hero is a productivity tool for organizing your own work. It is not professional legal, financial, medical, or business advice. You are responsible for any decisions you make based on output from the Software or any AI provider it connects to.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Software is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses.
This limitation applies even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim, damage, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your violation of these Terms, your misuse of the Software, or your violation of any law or third-party rights.
We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms. You may stop using the Software at any time.
If we terminate your license for cause (e.g., violation of these Terms or fraudulent activity), you are not entitled to a refund.
Termination does not affect provisions that by their nature should survive (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, governing law).
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws provisions. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Salt Lake County, Utah.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on advisorprephero.com and to active license holders via email. Your continued use of the Software after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you don't accept the updated Terms, your only remedy is to stop using the Software.
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and the EULA, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Software.
