After you install

The download is the same file whether you're trialing or licensed. Once you have a license key, enter it in the app to unlock your plan. Your workspace and all your files stay exactly where they are.

Windows security prompt: what to expect

Windows shows a "Windows protected your PC" warning for any newly released app that hasn't been downloaded by enough people yet. It's a reputation system, not a virus flag. Advisor Prep Hero is signed by the real developer (publisher: Jameson Daines). You can verify this in the dialog itself.

3The installer proceeds normally. The warning disappears for everyone once enough people have downloaded the same version.

Install and open Advisor Prep Hero

Run the installer, open Advisor Prep Hero, and choose or create a workspace folder on your machine. Nothing is uploaded anywhere.

Add your AI provider key

Go to Settings → API Keys and paste your key from Anthropic, OpenAI, or Google. Your key is stored in your OS keychain and never leaves your machine.

Never set up an API key before? It is a one-time, five-minute step. Create a free account with your AI provider (Anthropic, OpenAI, or Google), copy a key, and paste it into Advisor Prep Hero at Settings → API Keys. Enter your license key (if you've purchased)

Go to Settings → License and paste the key from your purchase receipt. The trial continues without a key for 30 days. Nothing changes until it expires.
